Hiring Process Model and Profiling
The corporate world today is focused on concepts about leadership, retention, management, attracting the "right" type of employee and other various aspects of the people-side of business. Organizational development professionals are using buzzwords such as "talent" and "attitudes." Focus is on retaining and developing a company's most valuable asset... their people. This concept is what we refer to as Human Capital Management.
Management of an organization's human capital starts prior to hiring. Hire only individuals that possess the characteristics needed for the job; hire what you cannot train. You need to know the motivators, to know if the candidate has the drive to contribute to the overall success of the company. To do this, we help you establish an accurate job description, write an ad that attracts great candidates and repels poor ones, measure which styles of applicant fit your organization and which ones don’t through an on-line Profile, and then hire to the model.
Profiling is also recommended for existing employees, so individuals may maximize their potential within the organization through improved understanding of themselves and how to best communicate with co-workers, prospects, and customers.
A bad hire is an expensive hire. Don’t hire based exclusively by resume; make your selection based on predictive behavior and goal-based outcomes. Don’t “wing it” through the hiring process, have a specific plan and model to follow to ensure finding and retaining a high performer.
